Get to know the birds in your backyard! Join Roberta Asher from the Chicago Audubon Society and learn which birds live your neighborhood year-round and which ones come to visit and nest during the summer.

The program, Your Backyard Birds, will be held at the Edgewater Branch Library in the Betty A. Barclay Community Room on the second floor.

As you become aware of your backyard birds and listen to their song, you can more fully enjoy their beauty! Learn more about their lives, behaviors, and and what you can do to attract them to your yard.

Roberta Asher is an avid birdwatcher and has traveled around the world in pursuit of her passion. She is involved in numerous professional organizations that promote conservation, and is a member of the Chicago Mayor’s Nature and Wildlife Committee.
