The Cybernagivator Is Back!

Imagine trying to apply for a job in a foreign language, in a place where you had no idea where to go or who to ask. That’s what many people in our community face if they lack computer literacy skills.

The CyberNavigator (CN) is dedicated to teaching those skills and assisting in job applications. Due to COVID, the CN program was temporarily halted, but the pandemic highlighted the need for those skills.

So, we are proud to announce that Edgewater Branch added Patrick R. as our CN on July 5. Librarians can help you find resources to assist you both in our collection and on the website, and then Patrick can help you fill out applications, create an email account, or other online tasks.

Patrick’s hours are Monday and Wednesday 2-6 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 12-4 p.m., and Friday 9-1. p.m. Call the Edgewater Branch at 312-742-1945 to make an appointment with him or stop by the branch to say hello!
